Cineworld closures set to be permanent in some locations with the company reportedly mulling a CVA to help it survive the pandemic

The world's second biggest cinema chain, which owns the 536-strong Regal chain in the US and its 127 Cineworld and Picturehouse cinemas in Britain, is talking to its lenders and landlords, and could potentially pursue a CVA, according to the Financial Times.

Last month, Cineworld temporarily shut all its UK and US operations, leaving 45,000 people unemployed for the foreseeable future.
